Crime is a relative social phenomenon closely related to the society in which we live, it stems from its customs, traditions and variables, the latter affecting drift behaviours and their nature
At the end of the last century, with beginning of phenomenon of globalization, there were many changes in scientific, industrial and technological progress that led to the emergence of new international concepts that invaded all countries of world and led to emergence of new patterns of delinquency and criminality, especially after development of field of information technology and the invasion of electronic environment by various means of communication with it.
Thus, organized crimes, electronic crimes and many forms of modern crimes (e.g: money laundering or money laundering, drugs, terrorism, kidnapping...etc.) has been termed new crimes.
The seriousness of new crime lies in difficulty of redressing it because of rapid and continuous development and spread of crime, with inability of national and international judicial authorities and their inability to contain and codify such crimes in line with their terrible development.
In this article, we will therefore try to present concept and characteristics of new crimes, their relationship to traditional crimes, as well as types of crimes developed, including organized and electronic crime (most of crimes developed are organized and electronic crimes at the same time), as well as their size and prevalence, and finally the mechanisms for combating and reducing them in Algerian society.
