Preserving Algeria's right to prevent foreigners from entering Algerian territory under Law 08-11

Although the foreigner fulfills the legal conditions which allow him to enter Algerian territory, However, according to the provisions of Law No. 08-11 of June 25, 2008 relating to the conditions of entry, stay and movement of foreigners in Algeria, he may find himself subject to an entry ban, because the Algerian state maintains its right to prevent entry into Algerian territory, even if the foreigner has all the legal conditions that allow him to.
This study aims to clarify the effectiveness of the procedure allowing the Algerian State to retain the right to prevent the foreigner from entering Algerian territory and to immunize the latter against illegal immigration;Consequently, the study includes an analysis of the legal texts relating to the subject, which led us to conclude that the Algerian legislator, in application of the principle of territorial sovereignty, extended the powers of the State on its territory, because it permit retains its right to prevent a foreigner from entering its territory, which contributes to strengthening the policy of fortification of Algerian territory.
