This research paper aims to identify the security risks facing illegal immigrants through one of the serious security phenomena affecting them, namely, trafficking in human beings. Based on the vision presented by the thinker Zygmunt Baumann in his contemporary approach on liquid modernity, and to answer the questions of the study and achieve its objectives, we followed the descriptive approach. We have reached several conclusions, including the fundamental statements of modernity on the ground based on a consumer culture that uses modern communication technology to commodify social reality, namely the human being himself, by promoting a liquid culture linking civilization and consumption. It has made many humans migrate in death boats in search of the world of dreams, civilization, and well-being to find several threats to their psychological and physical well-being by turning them into goods to be traded. Their human dignity is disregarded in a time when moral order offers individual selfishness over any collective interest.
