The crime of defamation individuals on social media in the Algerian legislation

It is assumed that the right of a person to the inviolability of his private life is a right guaranteed in various contitutions and laws, and that a person is completely free to act within his private life, based on the fact that it is a closed circuit that enjoys confidiality and no person may violate this sanctity
But in view of what we are facing today from violations targeting the honor and consideration of people through the use of technology and the internet, especially social media which have made a persons life vulnerable to revelation and bradcasting what is bad about people with the aim of disclosing them
Knowing that the crime in this area has a privacy associated with modern technology the purpose of this study is to highlight, the particularity of crime of defaming people through social media and its close relationship with some crimes affecting the person in his honor and consideration.
