Capacity-building strategy for sustainable tourism development in Algeria

Building sustainable tourism in Algeria is an important issue in order to achieve development, Despite Algeria's ownership of many tourism potentials and the efforts made by the state to advance this
sector, it failed to achieve a qualitative leap in making the Algerian destination tourist-attractive due to the shortcomings in the policies and strategies adopted by focusing in particular. On the quantitative side of the completion of the structures and the expansion of the hotel and tourism enterprises, in addition to the institutional instability of the Ministry of the Sector.
This study aims to clarify the issue of capacity building as an essential process for the development of sustainable tourism in Algeria. By focusing on building local human, organizational and institutional capacities, as well as intensifying efforts between the various central and decentralized official actors on the one hand, and non-governmental institutions of civil society and citizens, and their involvement in international efforts, on the other hand.
