Contemporary media plays an active role in society, as it contributes to changing situations, and this through its preventive and educational role at the same time, it can be added to the mechanisms of preventing corruption, based on its lofty message of calling for honesty, integrity, transparency and adherence With principles and values and following the paths leading to development and fighting corruption.
The fight against corruption and the generalization of accountability and the adoption of transparency is the title of the third millennium of the peoples of the world, which helps to reduce and reduce corruption and the existence of media that enjoys responsible freedom and effective participation and its role is limited primarily to the delivery of decisions and information to the people and to convince public opinion and enlightenment Risk of corruption.
Algeria was one of the countries that sought to combat this phenomenon. The National Commission for the Prevention of Corruption was established in 2006 under Law 06- 01, in addition to the creation of other preventive bodies, including the Central Office for the Suppression of Corruption and other bodies represented by the financial regulatory bodies.
