The European Union's three -dimensional strategy Toward the Sahel: contexts and implications

Abstract

This article aims to shed light on the three-dimensional strategy of the European Union based on the security,development and diplomatic dimension towards the Sahel region of this region, which is considered vital for the European Union for all the energy and strategic resources it provides. Our article will focus on addressing the most important determinants through which the European Union formulated its strategy towards the Sahel region, and we will also address the implications of this strategy, which is based on the link between security, development and rational diplomacy in the Sahel region.
