Abstract

The crisis is an unusual situation and a threat followed by a state of fear and panic which has become a feature of this era since its impact has increased more and more in our societies. Indeed, it has been associated with various aspects of economic, social and political life… and so on. However, the crisis is an unexpected condition affecting different individuals and organizations. It also affects systems and countries on both internal and external levels. In order to overcome this situation, it was necessary to deal with the crisis through its management, with a view to reducing and controlling its growth and to minimizing its damage in addition to directing its course. In this regard, various possibilities, means and individuals are employed. Hence, the m edia is one of the factors used in the crisis management process in all its stages. All of this, therefore, must have been taken into consideration within the priorities of strategic thinking, as a prior process that allows overcoming future threats and is reflected in the planning that follows to ensure continuity and survival of the entity that hit by the crisis
