This article examines the growth of the Chinese role in the North Africa region, especially after the cold war, through its roles economic and political roles that play in the region, and indications of this growth for its global status as a new force on the international scene, in addition to the traditional powers (the European Union and the United States of America). China has pursued a policy of soft power to boost its influence in the region and to ensure its international standing, but the role of China and its new location in the North Africa region is not without challenges linked to the Privacy and the transformations in the region and the nature of its geo- strategic position which make it a focus of great power ambitions in the past and the present, all this would impact on the future of the Chinese role in the region.
