Media impact on the cultural identity of the students of the University of Batna1- An applied study on a students’ sample from the departments of literature and information and communication sciences

The purpose of this study is to identify the impact of different media on the cultural identity of university youth. Cultural identity, although difficult to define clearly, especially in the shadow of globalization, But it does not come out of being a sense of belonging to a group with the same characteristics and characteristics of social, cultural, religious, and living and historical, and the importance of this study to know the habits and patterns of university youth use of various media, as well as the media preferred to reach the extent of the impact left by the media on Cultural Identity. To achieve this, the researchers used the survey method and questionnaire form on a sample of 100 male and female students from the media and communication students and students of Arabic literature at Al-Haj Lakhdar Batna University to reach the results expected from the study.
