Abstract

The present study aims to reveal the level of dependence behavior as a behavioral characteristic of psychological and cognitive dimensions of university students resident, we formulated the hypotheses that the behavioral dependence of female students is low and that the dependence behavior of new female students stay is high and on the other hand, we assumed that the level of dependence behavior of female students due to the nature of specialization Has been chosen. We followed in this study descriptive analytical method, and build a questionnaire consisting of (97) items, distributed on four dimensions: the first is decision-making, the second is responsibility, the third is self-confidence, while the fourth dimension concerns self-esteem, and the alternatives used in the questionnaire were as follows: Always applicable (4), often applicable (3), sometimes applicable (2), not applicable (1), since the high score means the presence of the property and low means the decline of the property, the questionnaire was applied to a sample selected randomly by (120) resident students University Residence , Hamla 4 – Batna. After completing the questionnaire and analyzing its results based on the statistical program (spss), we reached the following results:
1/The level of dependence behavior of the resident students is average.

2 / The level of dependence behavior of new female students is average.
3 / The level of dependence behavior among students with different specialties is average.
