The main objective of the present study is to elucidate the effect of the measures taken by Algeria in light of covid-19 pandemic on the right of the child to quality of education as an important axis towards the building of knowledge and science society through human development and the investment in teaching children. To realise this study, we adopted a descriptive, analytical and evaluative approach that englobe the different measures taken by authorities to ensure the continuity of teaching. It is abvious to mention that at given period of the expansion of the pandemic schools were momentarily closed, as a measure of prevention from the dangers of the virus and logically the protection of the students (children’s) in school environment. The cited measures aim also in the first run, at saving children’s lives and ensure their rights to pursue their scholar cursus. The study tried to give a set of recommendation that could have an immediate response from authorities regarding inefficiency and weakness of educational methods based on digital and technology. the low level of benefiting from the right to quality education especially in period of threat such the pandemic covid-19
