Morocco paved the way for the peace treaty between Egypt and the entity, and it was one of the first Arab states, after Egypt and Jordan, Which established Formal diplomatic relations with the entity after the Oslo Accord, and then finally joined the Ibrahim Accords of normalization, motivated by reasons related to the nature of the regime, The strong opposition after independence, and other regional and international factors, such as the alliance with Israel against Algeria, and seeking to appease the West in its claim to sovereignty over Western Sahara.
