This study deals with multilateralism in U.S foreign policy under the Biden administration by focusing on its continuity with the Trump Presidency or change. The study starts with examining the state of ebb and flow commitment to multilateralism as a means in U.S foreign policy under some previous administrations, for example, from Clinton to Obama. This examination is also obvious under the Biden current administration through its foreign policy discourse and decisions taken in less than a year, in order to change U.S foreign policy by restoring multilateralism. Contrary to Biden, Trump defined his foreign policy approach under “America First” slogan that led to a unilateralist turn in U.S foreign policy. Despite the clarity of the Biden’s turn to multilateral actions, unilateralism remains possible in the future when necessary and according to the U.S national interests.
