The Role of Green Solid Waste Management in Promoting Domestic Tourism in Algeria - A Case Study of Hotels in Jijel Province-

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the role of green solid waste management as an independent variable, and waste as a dependent variable, in promoting domestic tourism in Algeria, using hotels in Jijel as a case study. The study began with a question centered around "What is the role of green solid waste management in hotels in Jijel in promoting domestic tourism?" The study targeted managers and administrators of 25 hotels in Jijel. The descriptive analytical approach was used, and SPSS was used to process data and test hypotheses. The study found a statistically significant positive relationship between the implementation of green solid waste management practices in hotels in Jijel and the promotion of domestic tourism. The results, however, showed that the implementation of environmental management by hotels in Jijel remains limited, and that the implementation of domestic tourism promotion practices in hotels in Jijel helps attract tourists
