Small and medium enterprises in the construction and public works sector in Algeria "the entrance to opportunities"

Abstract

 This research aims to identify the factors that encourage small and medium enterprises to invest in the Algerian construction and public works sector. Where the research was based on a set of statistics obtained from some national and international Organizations, then provide an analytical reading of the situation of small and medium enterprises in this sector and inventory the number of opportunities and factors encouraging them to invest in it. At the end of this research, we concluded that despite Algeria's advantages and opportunities in the construction and public works sector, and despite Algeria's implementation of a series of reforms with the aim of promoting and activating the performance of small and medium enterprises. This economic fabric in the construction and public works sector continues to face a number of difficulties
