Diagnosing the Reality of the Exploitation of Renewable Energies in Algeria: a Reading of the Most Important Projects and Activities

Abstract

The exploitation of renewable energy is aimed at benefiting from available natural resources (solar, wind, hydro, geothermal) to diversify energy resources and consecrate dimensions of sustainable development, renewable energy sources differ from fossil fuels such as (oil and coal) as their residues do not contain other contaminants, such as in the combustion of fossil energy. From this view, and through this paper we will try to review the reality of this type of energy in Algeria and the effectiveness of investing in it and moving towards it.
