The possibility of implementing public-private partnership contracts in Algeria

Abstract

Public-private partnerships contracts or what is called PPP, won the attention of governments, businessmen, researchers, and economists, because of its leadership role in achieving real investment goals, reducing the budget burden, creating employment, and taking risks between the public and private sector. The Organic finance law 18/15, which will take effect in 2023, in Article 37 of it, referred to the partnership contract as a mechanism for financing projects in Algeria. This paper aims to attempt to visualize the partnership contracts in Algeria.
