Assessing and managing public finance risks in the light of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

This study aimed to highlight the risks of public finances, their assessment and management methods.

The research found that these risks are mainly related to debt problems through which governments seek to cover budget deficits.

We also discussed the types of financial risks that governments should assess and manage using a set of support measures, which need to assess, track, manage and report on their fiscal implications in a transparent manner.
