The influence of socio-economic status on expenditure on urban mobility in the city of Bejaia

This intervention aims to study the impact of the social status on the monthly expenditure devoted to urban travel of commuters in the city of Bejaia. By addressing the following problem:
Is there a statistically significant effect of the social status of commuters on the monthly expenditure devoted to urban journeys in the city of Bejaia at the significance level  < 0.05?
In order to answer this problem, the analytical method relied on the use of the questionnaire tool on a study sample equal to 769 individuals from the study community, represented by transport users in the urban area of Bejaia, as part of the PRFU research project. The main research findings indicate that socio-economic factors have a differential effect on average monthly spending on urban travel. The results of this research are of great importance in helping to make rational decisions related to transport planning in the city of Bejaia
