Abstract

The development of information technology contributed to the globalization of the trademark through its use electronically, thus increasing its economic value. In return, modern forms of electronic infringement of trademarks emerged, resulting in an illegal financial return for the aggressors at the expense of the exclusive rights of the trademark owners.

Therefore, this study aims to examine the extent of civil legal protection provided by traditional rules in the face of modern forms of electronic attacks on trademarks, these attacks that negatively affect the economic value of the trademark, and be a source of illegal gain for electronic aggressors, which exposes them to accountability on the basis of a competition suit. Unlawful when its conditions are met, or through a tort claim
