Abstract

The objective of this research paper is to try to understand the role of orthopaedic sponsorship in improving the psychological safety of mothers of deaf children with cochlear implants. The two researchers used several tools, namely observation, interview and art education activities, as well as the application of the psychological safety scale designed by Dr. Zainab Al-Shukair. "In 2005, adapted to the Algerian environment by researcher Bensaih Masouda in 2017, where our research sample consisted of 08 cases, ranging in age from 28 to 35 years, and was based on the quasi-experimental approach. The results of our research showed a range of outcomes represented in the low level of psychological safety in mothers of cochlear implant babies, and we also found that there are statistically significant differences between pre- and post-measurement in favour of post-measurement in increasing psychological safety due to the role of orthopaedic management in mothers of cochlear implant babies. This led us to conclude that sponsorship has a major role in improving the psychological safety of mothers of cochlear implant babies.
