Diplomacy under the hegemony of cyberspace Between traditional practice and digital imperative

This study contributes to clarifying the role of information and communication technology in diplomacy, as all countries are forced to move towards digitalization in all fields, including the diplomatic field and foreign policy. Therefore, the article tries to address digital diplomacy in the current era in addition to addressing some of the world' sleading models in digital diplomacy by identifying the strengths of these countries, and finally, digital diplomacy will be discussed in light of the Corona virus crisis. The importance of the study stems from its being the subject of the hour, given the recent escalation in the role of technology and communication technologies, as well as their widespread use in diplomatic activity in particular. Thus, the main objective of the study is to try to understand the implications of the use of the Internet and modern communication technology on diplomacy, which is an increasingly important force in today’s societies.
