Penal protection for protected areas A study in the light of Algerian Law

The Algerian legislator gave the protected areas great importance when he singled them out by a special law that regulates them and approves their protection. After they have been incorporated into law no.10-03 relating to the protection of the environment within the framework of sustainable development, they become subject to the provisions of law no.02-11 of February 17m2011,this paper aims to shed light on this law that gave protected areas greater protection by defining them and determining their components, classes, methods of operation, and penal provisions applicable to those who violate its systems and components in terms of criminal activity and penalty prescribed for it their to its essential role in protecting biological diversity and environment systems
