Abstract

The contemporary development revealed the emergence of a modern form of writing, editors and signature, which is the electronic method in line with the increasing development of the means of modern technology that have dominated all aspects of contemporary life, including the legal aspect, and not limited to the paper document and letter signature, but rather the transformation to electronic documents that depend on Paperless supports accompanied by the electronic signature, meaning finding an alternative to the traditional method that replaces it and performs the same functions in terms of documentation and proof, so this study aims to identify the electronic signature and demonstrate its authority in proof, as well as the international and national legal texts that stipulate that authenticity.
