This study deals with awareness-raising roles that the media played in Algeria during the health crisis left by the coronavirus pandemic. Given the public's reliance on various sources of information to understand the nature of this pandemic and the ways of preventing and treating it, within the relationship between the media and members of society as part of the overall framework of the integrated model of “Media system dependency”. That theory developed by M.Defleur and Sandra Ball-Rokeach to explain the complex components of interdependency between social systems
