The problematic of linguistic security on the Arab media space: presentation of an empowerment strategy, and confrontation of its obstacles.

Abstract

We will try through our paper to highlight the role of the media in improving the Arabic language and achieving its security among its holders, considering that the media institutions are one of the most important sectors capable of containing and keeping the language policy. We have formulated the problem of our paper in the following question: Is the Arab media space working on the development of Arabic language? So, we will try to define the relationship between linguistic planning and protecting the language to achieve its security, and clarify the methods that can make Arab media platforms a means of linguistic empowerment in their surroundings, in addition to the challenges that Arab linguistic security faces in its relationship to the media
