The role of university courses in enhancing the cultural security of the student

The purpose of this study was to identify the role of university courses in improving the cultural security of the student. The study was based on the descriptive approach, and the study sample was made up of (375) students from the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences at the University of Jijel during the 2018/2019 academic season, on which a questionnaire composed of (27) sentences was distributed, after verification of the psychometric properties. The questionnaire included three axes: linguistic security, religious security, and citizenship values. Statistical processing was carried out using the statistical analysis program (SPSS), where the arithmetic averages were calculated to determine the program role level in improving the cultural security of the student, and the study concluded that the courses contributed moderately to improve the cultural safety of the student. Linguistic security came in first place, citizenship values second, and religious security third.
