Abstract

 Asymmetric warfare has emerged as a sophisticated aspect of warfare. Does it revolve in a strategic environment that differs from traditional combat environments, characterized by a change in the nature of the actors and the theatre of combat highs with an increased fog of war in a way that prevents knowing who is fighting? And where does he fight? And for the sake of who ?, It also differs in the nature of the approved and varied combat techniques between modern and traditional developed. Drones are the most prominent combat tools approved, which are considered according to many of the most appropriate technological data to deal with security threats and new war compared to conventional aircraft, since today's war is no longer its "soldier" military hero but the artificial intelligence and drones whose possession is necessary for all armies. What explains the competition and race between countries to acquire and develop this technology, such as the United States, Russia, China, Israel, etc. For this purpose, this article sought to research the most controversial topics of the current period in academia interested in military affairs, which is the use of drones as a combat technology in asymmetric warfare, and this topic came with the aim of understanding the criteria that were relied upon by both countries and entities Asymmetric actors when choosing this technique as the primary fighting vehicle in the context of asymmetric warfare.
