The importance of this subject lies in the complex nature and implications of international conflicts, which require the use of multiple means to end them. The Conflict Resolution experience has revealed the shortfalls of traditional approaches in solving international conflicts due to their complexity. It has, thus, urged researchers to look for new approaches to deal with conflicts. One of the most attracting areas of research is the likely links between Media and Peace which is increasingly becoming an intriguing area in the field of conflict resolution and notably in peacebuilding. Through a descriptive approach, the present article seeks to address the Role of Media in Post-conflict Peacebuilding. It is divided into three sections. Finally, the third section explores the most important approaches to "Peace Journalism". The article concluded with a set of findings showing that media plays an important role in the post-conflict phase through a range of activities which aims at supporting peace
