The new security diplomacy of china and its impact upon the geopolitical status of USA in Asia- Pacific region

Abstract

This research paper presents a reading to china’s diplomatic security in post-cold war, and its way to approach the regional security issues – Asia pacific region-, which is considered as economic and political central gravity internationally in 21 century. Through pragmatic security policies, rising economic power and active diplomacy reflects the uprising china’s role with "great power mentality" under the big status of trust and responsibility. This paper discuss also the main challenges imposed by the new china’s security as great power and its reflections on the position of United States geopolitical as a great power in Asia pacific
