The Algerian woman through television programs.. Challenges in the light of social change

Abstract

The social changes imposed by the current era have produced new topics and issues for women. The media has a great responsibility to keep pace with this change through television programs aimed at women. Through this research paper, we are about to reveal the type of topics presented in the Algerian TV program "Jalsat Wansa", and to know whether it keeps pace with this change or not using a content analysis tool. The study concluded that the program does not keep pace with the new changes in women's topics.
