Abstract

The topic of this research paper is determined to explain the connotations associated with the concept of "State prestige", which, became one of the most important concepts that have recently been echoed in the political and social literature, given its great impact on the continuity and existence of the state itself, and the effectiveness of its institutions because it is the owner of political patronage, for this, we need to stand at their manifestations in the application of the law and ensuring the natural and civil rights. We also hope that we will be able to clarify the nature of the relationship between it and individual freedom. Since this is the case, what do we mean, starting with the " prestige of the state?" Can the state sacrifice the freedom of individuals to preserve its prestige Is it not impossible for the state to turn this Act into a political ogre who swallows every possible initiative Is it not an exaggeration to admit that the prestige of the state is conditioned by the prestige of the individual who belongs to it and defends it.
