This study looks to clarify the nature of the relationship between the foreign policy and the development project of any country. It also takes the Chinese example to emphasize the importance of the involvement of all state activities, especially foreign policy, in achieving the development goals of the developing countries, Because international cooperation and the coordination of development efforts – which are the traditional functions of foreign policy - have become essential in a world in which development can no longer be built on self-reliance. In the light of China's development experience, this study emphasizes that the path of national development can not be guaranteed without the creation of suitable external elements. In this context, the issue of linking foreign policy objectives to the development goals of the State is highlighted, either by improving the image of the country as an investment destination, or by working to ensure a stable and peaceful environment in such a way as to ensure greater focus on internal development efforts.
