Hospitals governance: New management mechanisms of hospital in some international examples

Abstract

At the beginning of the new mellinium the modern states gave high priority to health sector directing its indevors to place citizens at the centre of it's public policies, that appeared through the incraese of budjet allocated for that sector and national strategic objectives aimed to ensure right to health , despite the efforts made to improve health care a modern effective management mechanisms of (public) hospitals and health centres are required owing to criticism against the old management mechanisms because of the increased demand for health services , gaps between the needed and available resources and the new challanges (pollution and new types of desease appeared).health institution tends to be multiple and complex , it is responsible for providing integrated health care services (diagnostic, terapeutic, educational, research ) increased as result of health and technical progress which has to led to the emegence of so-called hospital governance in developed countries. this article attempts to analyze the most important mesures taken by the OECD countries to integrate health system into good governance practices through best practices for public hospitals and health centres , improve, inhance and modernize the concepts of strategic and participatory management, the article contains some examples of the Algerian experience in that sector.
