Abstract

The international organizations are amongst the most prominent actors in international relations since the middle of the last century. They aim to strengthen cooperation between countries and work towards achieving stability and peace in the international order. Such stability and peace can only be achieved by preserving the individuals, safeguarding their rights and protecting them from all forms of humiliation and damage occur, by natural causes; associated to natural disasters, or those related to human action such as conflicts. To face the remnants of these environmental and humanitarian phenomena, the efforts of many actors and partners are united. Here, the international organizations come in the first position due to their characteristics that contribute to the effective performance of humanitarian assistance. This paper aims at investigating how humanitarian aid is provided by international organizations; sometimes it is seen ambiguous and suspicious. They are considered as a tool of pressure and a means of intervention. This makes humanitarian aid as a game and subject to political considerations and consensus.
