Participatory democracy and its mechanisms application in Algerian legislation

This research aims to highlight the role of participatory democracy as a gateway to the rationalization of good governance at the level of local communities, as it came as a mechanism to repair the flaws of Representative democracy, by working to involve as many citizens as possible in the conduct of their affairs and contribute to raising the sense of citizenship, we have noted that the Algerian legislator He tried to consolidate the role of participatory democracy in all the successive constitutions of Algeria since independence, as well as in the laws of the municipality and the state, but the idea of its actual embodiment is still ambiguous, as the legislator remains reluctant to expand the margin of freedom granted to participation of women. There is a big flaw in the theoretical side, which the legal texts, in addition to a big flaw in the application, Which, the reality of the application of participatory democracy at the level of local Algerian groups, for several reasons.
