Abstract

Since the emergence of the globalization, new ways of seeing and envisioning the world have become more complex. A world marked by the interdependence and proliferation of state and non-state actors, this is why state sovereignty is based on fear and anxiety. Although the global system is based on the relational power between nations, state sovereignty was, and remains, a framework for relevant studies. It has been evoked in the idealist, constructivist, culturalist and trans-nationalist approach and each time, there is a subject that arises to the surface, this subject evokes the stability of the world, this stability is ensured by the hegemon to maintain and ensure the world order. The concept of sovereignty is probably not about to be extinguished. It raises many question marks, so it gives rise to various rather contradictory conclusions. This enigmatic concept especially attracts the attention of researchers in heterodox and orthodox international political economy, who operate in a world system characterized by different facets, whose political authority is increasingly fragmented and contested.
