Abstract

Our study, entitled "The role of the private sector in global environmental governance (case study British Petroleum)", aims to know the global environmental governance system in British Petroleum p.l.c, and to recognize its most important policies and systems for achieving its sustainable environmental goals by identifying its various strategies through: total air emissions, total freshwater withdrawal, oil spills, and toxic waste disposed. As we have concluded that BP's environmental governance system was effective through the adoption of several strategies and policies aimed at protecting the ecosystem and addressing climate change.
