Autism Spectrum Disorder and Diagnostic Difficulties

Abstract

 This research aims to shed light on the diagnostic criteria for autism spectrum disorder, where autism is usually diagnosed based on the behavior of the child, and therefore there are several symptoms of autism that differ in their appearance from one child to another, in addition to the different severity of the disorder among children. And because the prevalence of autism is constantly increasing in children, it is necessary to accurately identify the criteria and the appropriate tools on the basis of which autism spectrum disorder is diagnosed and distinguished from other disorders.
