Abstract

 This research paper came to shed light on the reality of e-governance in Arab countries and the most important obstacles to its application. We concluded that building the information society in the Arab countries required the application of e-government, through which it tried to consolidate the principles of democracy What the Arab citizen sought to achieve, Despite the great delay that we have witnessed through the results of our study regarding the poor design of some of them and the poor content of their content and The traditional character which has prevailed in terms of interaction with its audience, but there are some models that have recorded an effective presence, such as the Tunisian government Through the mechanism of participation in decision-making electronically and the Government of Bahrain But overall, the e-government project is still unknown to many of the general public
