The herein thesis sheds light on the international intervention in Libya from the beginning of the crisis in 2011 to the Skhirat Agreement in 2016. In fact, the central aim is to determine the intervention's real objectives which came under a humanitarian cover to apply the so-called "Responsibility to Protect" but the reality proved its deviation since the contribution of the NATO in the overthrow of the ex-regime, in addition to its failure to support the reconstruction of Libya as the last stage of the Responsibility to Protect
