Abstract

education, project education and teaching strategies. Among the strategies that have received acceptance and attention from educators and those involved in the educational process is the "problem-centered learning strategy," a type of learning based on empowering the learner with performing skills to build his or her knowledge of himself or herself. The purpose of this study is to publicize the application of the application steps and the impact of their application on the achievement of learning tasks in history. The pilot group (65 students) and the control group (65 students) applied the learning tasks test to them (by the researcher), as well as the teacher's manual for the application of the problem-based learning strategy. Following the application of the test and the use of various statistical tools, it was found that there was a significant impact of the use of this strategy in achieving the learning tasks of the pilot group superior to the control group
