The reality of organized crime in the Maghreb region (causes, patterns and effects)

Abstract

The changes that have taken place in the Maghreb region have contributed to the growth and development of organized crime and its spread, leading to complex and interdependent threats in a transnational context, leading to serious complications and safety, and the danger becomes an encouraging phenomenon for the growth of other forms of crime such as trafficking in women. The arms and drug trade, the export of terrorism and illegal immigration have created tensions in the region.
