The “Al-AL’an bi Ahkam Al-Bunyan” is by its author Ibn al-Rami al-Faqih al-Building, who gained extensive experience in his field, until he became one of the people of the profession, and the judges used it in issues and issues that require customary jurisprudence, and data highlighted by the expert in al-Building, hence the importance of the study through Highlighting the importance of the book in mentioning the calamities and fatwas that occurred in his era in the field of building and architecture through his actual practice or through what he heard, whether in Tunisia or in the countries of the Maghreb in which he toured and prayed, giving fatwas on the Maliki school of thought, and he sometimes resorted to emerging disputes This study concluded that Ibn al-Rami’s book “Al-AL’an bi Ahkam Al-Bunyan” contributed greatly to the development of Islamic architecture thanks to his experience in the field of construction and fatwas, and was reflected in the facilities in which they are located, as they were adapted according to customs and traditions and according to custom and law, thus preserving the Arab-Islamic character for the city.
