Abstract

This study is concerned with highlighting the religious aspects of the policy of Saleh Bey, who assumed power as Bailek in the East, and who can be considered the most prominent personalities who made the wisdom of the Bailek, and this is in view of his important achievements, most notably religious and cultural establishments. We are also trying to monitor his policies towards religious activities in Bailek and his volatile relationship with them. The spiritual and religious dimension can be considered one of the most prominent features that characterized the personality of Saleh Bey, which was the engine of his policies, which we try to shed light on in this study.
