Abstract

Faqih Abdullah bin Yassin al-Jazouli, is the most prominent figure in the rackets of the tribes of the Sunhajah Southern in the first half of the fifth century ah (Hijri) , Thanks to his scientific abilities and his political wisdom, he managed to transform the Rabat from a place of learning and worship to a place to prepare loyal followers who carry the banner of jihad to spread Islamic religion. He was able to subjugate the Sunhajah tribes to his authority, and seized many cities in the Maghreb, and despite his martyrdom in one of his battles against the tribes of Barghouta in the year 451 AH/1059AD, he was able to lay the first foundations for the establishment of the Almoravid state. This research aims to introduce the personality of the Faqih Abdullah bin Yassin al-Jazuli, and how to establish the state of the Almoravids by the tribes of the Sunhajah Southern, and addresses the following problem: What is the role of the Faqih Abdullah bin Yassin al-Jazuli in establishing the Almoravid state ? And I employed in this research the narrative, analytical and critical approach, and I seek to reach many results, the most important of which is to know how Abdullah bin Yasin al-Jazuli established the Almoravid State.
