The current study aimed to identify the role of scientific specialization in the use of modern media and communication technologies by professors, based on the descriptive curriculum, and on a sample of 237 professors in both the Universities of Shalif and Mostaghanem, this was the study tool in an electronic questionnaire, which consists of four axes and twenty-four questions, where the sincerity of its internal consistency and stability, which reached 82%, was confirmed It reached the following results: 1. There is statistical significant differences between teachers of technical specialities and teachers of Humanitarian specialities on ICTs usage, for the benefit of teachers of technical specialities. 2. The low rates of ICTs usage by humanitarian professors are not due to material obstacles. 3. The low rates of ICTs usage by humanitarian professors are due to Self-obstacles
