Abstract

This research paper aims to investigate the potential effectiveness of the flipped classroom approach in the context of teaching French as a foreign language (FLE) in Algerian schools. A Flipped Classroom is an innovative teaching model where traditional teaching methods are reversed. The study uses a mixed-methods approach, to explore the perceptions and conceptions of teachers in implementing the flipped classroom approach in FLE classes. The findings of this research paper suggest that the flipped classroom approach has the potential to enhance students' motivation, engagement, and learning outcomes in FLE classes in the  Algerian school context.
