Turning slang words into classical Arabic Samples selected from Ibn Chenab’s Book of public Woman’s proverb

Abstract

Sociolinguistics studies language in relation to society. It is interested in language being the most important means of communication used among people in any society. Language is also used to observe human behaviour, write his heritage and transfer his experience to coming generations through his different activities and experiences. In this article we try to deal with bilingualism, we will select some words from Ibn Chenab’s book of popular proverbs which are in fact used all over the country (Algeria) and study their meaning
